                       What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called The Craniosacral System - comprised of the membranes and the cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a 5 cent coin, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

Craniosacral therapy is best known for its ability to treat chronic pain and a wide variety of neurological and neuromuscular issues, connective tissue problems, as well as types of headaches, hearing problems, vertigo, TMJ problems, sinus issues and many more. Craniosacral therapy also supports and treats symptoms arising in all trimesters of pregnancy and is proving to be a highly successful therapy for the treatment of baby colic, constipation, reflux, irregular sleeping patterns and latching difficulty.
